Version 11 October 2026
Report content
This page is for asking that illegal content, or content that infringes copyright, be removed from the videos and clips processed by Vidioq. An account is not required. The procedure is written in French. Any translation is indicative only: the French text prevails.
Who can report
A right holder, their representative, or anyone reporting content they believe to be illegal. The report concerns a clip, a source that is still hosted, or an account that submitted them.
Information required
For the request to be handled under Article 16 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, it has to be precise enough. State:
- your name and a contact email address;
- your capacity: right holder, representative, or other person;
- where the content is: the page address, the clip identifier, or the link of the submitted video;
- the ground: copyright infringement, or other illegal content, with the facts that support it;
- a statement of good faith, and confirmation that the information is accurate and complete.
If you know the Vidioq account concerned, name it. That lets the publisher notify the decision to the account holder.
Acknowledgement, decision and challenge
The screen confirms that the report was saved. An acknowledgement is also sent to your email address, without undue delay, when the service’s mailer can send it. The aim is two working days.
The request is examined diligently. When the report is precise enough, the decision is aimed at within seven working days. If further checks are needed, the period is longer and you are told.
The decision is notified to you at the address you gave. If a measure is directed at a user of the service — removal, blocking, suspension or closure — that user receives a reasoned decision, in accordance with Article 17 of the same regulation, and may challenge it.
You can challenge the decision by replying to the notice, or by writing to [email protected], quoting the report reference. We aim to reply within one month. This internal step does not take away the right to go to court.
These periods are processing aims. They are not an admission that the request is well founded.
Repeat accounts
After a removal, submitting illegal content again from the same account may lead to its suspension, then to its closure. The decision states its reasons, is notified to the user, and may be challenged as above.
Reports that are manifestly unfounded and repeated may lead the publisher to stop processing later notices from the same person for a time, and to suspend their account if they have one, after telling them.
Writing without the form
You can send the same information to [email protected]. The form below records the request and notifies that address.
The information in a report is kept for one year after the case is closed.
The contract framework is the terms of use.
